Why choose a professional wedding photographer?

Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting times of life. You just spent a year organizing everything to make your wedding a special day that you will remember your whole life. You have not counted your hours to look for the wedding dress of your dreams or to run the shops to find the costume that will highlight you.
It was a real challenge to agree on the colors that look like you. You’ve probably searched magazines, surfed the internet, taken advice from your best friends or family to choose an exceptional reception area and imagine a decoration in every detail. You ran this marathon of preparations by refining until the last minute the guest list to be surrounded by the people that matter most to you. You have put all your energy and especially all your heart to please you and to please those who matter to you.
So why neglect the choice of the photographer or videographer of your wedding?
With easy access to digital cameras and recording gadgets, we might think that it is not necessary to call upon a professional wedding photographer or videographer and be tempted to entrust the care of immortalizing this day to a cousin, a school friend or any other supposedly well-equipped person.
In order to capture these precious moments forever, only the performance of an experienced professional will allow you to hope for a rendering consistent with your expectations and at the height of all the work and efforts that you have engaged in your preparations.
So these are my 5 reasons to trust a professional image.
- A PROFESSIONAL IS COMMITTED TO YOU.
The professional, being bound by a legal contract with you, you are assured that they will come on the day of your wedding. He will not be able to withdraw at the last moment and in case of force majeure he will do everything possible to find a solution to ensure the service.
- A PROFESSIONAL WITH EXPERIENCE.
The professional has spent thousands of hours photographing weddings. He knows how to sneak among the guests, to get this unique photo that will illustrate your happiness of the day. He knows when the bride and groom will be most moved and will be ready to immortalize this moment. Thanks to his experience, he knows how to be ready to take the photos that will capture all the different emotions that will give you this day. It will make the best shots even in difficult lighting or shooting conditions, and will therefore lose no memory of your day. No amateur photographer even seasoned will be able to compete with the experience of a professional who will think to immortalize every detail of your wedding in photo like the wedding preparations, the flowers, the decoration that you have meticulously prepared.
- GUARANTEE OF EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS
Wedding photography is a profession in its own right and the professional always has at heart to provide a meticulous work and an irreproachable quality that will represent the showcase of his art. So you can be sure that he will strive to give you the best results to satisfy you and hope for a recommendation to your friends and loved ones.
- INSURANCE OF A PROFESSIONAL MATERIAL
The professional is ready for any situation! It has spare equipment, batteries and emergency memory cards and equipment adapted to all situations. Therefore, if there is a problem with the equipment, it will be able to cope without you realizing it. All you have to do is enjoy your day in complete peace.
- YOU WANT YOUR FRIENDS TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING!
Because you have invited them to share this wonderful moment with you, you want your loved ones to enjoy and celebrate this day serenely. What a wonderful memory to find them on your wedding photos and videos having fun instead of participating in your wedding through their smartphone or camera.
To sum up, don’t sacrifice your wedding photos because by the end of this day, the food and flowers will be gone, but your wedding photos will stay. They are the lasting memory of one of the most important events of your life. Only a true professional photographer or videographer will make this unique memory last over time.
Why provide your invitation to your wedding photographer or videographer?

Some married couples choose to spend several thousand euros in their dress. Others put the priority on the caterer, the decoration, the flowers… But also, on their wedding stationery.
Even if you don’t think it’s essential that you have your photo invitation, I would still like you to bring it to me during the preparations, and I will explain why.
Your invitation is certainly the first element of your wedding that your guests and your family discovered, and it is also surely one of the first elements you chose for your wedding.
You may have chosen your invitation and stationery carefully, by having them made by a graphic designer, by having them printed in a printing shop or by creating them yourself. Your invitation is certainly personalized and in the image of your union, in the colors of your wedding.
I’m not asking for your invitation out of curiosity. And when I talk about your invitation, I am referring to the elements of your wedding stationery: the invitation, the invitation, the envelope, the reply card, and even more if possible (program, menu, place-marking, etc.).
If I ask you because I need it to photograph your memories in detail, I can then use these photos as a “background” or as a reminder to connect the other details of your marriage to each other.
This will also allow me to associate the images in your photo book and maintain consistency between them, in the same color range and will allow me to feel the atmosphere of your wedding, your personalization.
Here are some pictures to show you the result.

Fine Art Photography.
Wedding photographs have evolved a lot. For our grandparents, this often meant a studio visit to the photographer on D-Day, with the lady standing and the gentleman sitting.
For our parents, we find still very posed portraits, couple and group, but this time outdoors.
Then the photo report of the wedding gradually settled down, with more and more vivid photos, on the spot, giving a natural aspect, more oriented to the photojournalistic report than the photo posed.
Since the advent of digital, the number of photographers has increased considerably and the market of professional photographers has thus become very heterogeneous, whether in difference of style of images, of offers, but (it is regrettable) also in image quality and professionalism.
The bride and groom therefore have much more choice, but often do not know to whom to entrust their marriage report.
In terms of the “style” of images, several major trends emerge today concerning the photographer’s approach, from the report entirely “on the spot” Rather my style, to the photos very “posed”
My Approach to Wedding Photography with 2 Styles
– photojournalism, composed of images on the spot, at the heart of the action. I do not intervene on marriage or very little.
– the editorial, composed of more posed images, similar to images from fashion magazines. A narrative approach that combines a story of everything that touches you in your marriage, family, friends, the emotions of every moment.
But also everything that makes the charm of your wedding. The place, the details, the decorations…
